After tragically losing our mum we asked Henry to be the funeral director. From coming to our house to the actual service he could not do enough. We felt he was truly looking after mum. We couldn't ask for a more personal service. The price was reasonable too.

Henry organised the funeral for our nephew Ross who was tragically killed just before Christmas on his birthday. From the very start nothing was any trouble for him and he was kind , considerate and made what was certainly hard for us all a lot more bearable. From the simple things to the hardest he did a outstanding and professional service , I honestly can say I think I speak for the whole family we couldn't fault Henry and his staff on anything . Henry organised my Grandads funeral and I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and hard work. Nothing was too much to ask and I felt like Henry genuinely wanted to make sure everything was perfect, for our benefit and my Grandad’s.
My family were over-whelmed with how peaceful my Grandad looked in H G King’s Chapel of Rest. He looked just as we remember him.
Henry listened to our exact requirements and even managed to organise for a projector to be set up in the church for a video to be played during the service.. Even though I’d only requested this a day before the funeral!

We recently used Henry's service's when my nan sadly passed away. Everything from day 1 was perfect. Nothing was to much hassle for him, even allowing family to visit the chapel of rest on a Saturday. He's respectful, polite, caring and very professional. I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for listening to what I had to say regarding my partners' funeral and the clear information that you gave me. You kept me up to date on the arrangements with respect to the funeral and cremation arrangements which did all go to plan. The chaplain that you arranged to meet with me at home to preside over the funeral also listened to our story and the life we had together. The service was lovely and it gave me a sense of peace and I am sure my partner would have appreciated and approved of it all. Henry King handled the funeral arrangements for my late husband following his death at the end of February. My husband originally wanted to leave his body to medical science, but unfortunately this wasn't possible. 
Henry went out of his way to try to resolve the delays with the Coroner releasing my husband’s body and the inability of the Anatomy Office to take his body for medical science due to lack of availability. 
We cannot thank Henry enough for his efforts in this regard and for the professional, kind and empathetic way that all the funeral arrangements were handled.
